C) Pleomorphic adenoma


 Pleomorphic adenoma  is characterized by an admixture of polygonal epithelial and spindle-shaped myoepithelial elements (pic. 1-2-3)  in a variable background of myxoid stroma that may be metachromatic with Giemsa stain (pic. 4-5-6). Epithelial elements may be arranged in duct-like structures, myoepithelial cells are often isolated and sometimes admixed to epithelial aggregates.
