Final Diagnosis:

C) Negative for malignancy (Nodular Goiter)



On follow-up the nodule was stable and scintigraphy was negative, consistent with Nodular Goiter

  1. cellularity is more so it may neoplastic


    • The patient didn’t undergo tyroidectomy. Final diagnosis is based on clinical behavior of the lesion. Despite high cellularity, (that is not the only e most important feature for neoplasia), in the picture we can well appreciate normal structures of tireocytes without nuclear atypia, surrounding colloid and admixed to fibrous stroma.
